Edit your /etc/X11/xserver.xorg file to comment out the following:

InputDevice    "stylus" "SendCoreEvents"
InputDevice    "cursor" "SendCoreEvents"
InputDevice    "eraser" "SendCoreEvents"

change to:

#    InputDevice    "stylus" "SendCoreEvents"
#    InputDevice    "cursor" "SendCoreEvents"
#    InputDevice    "eraser" "SendCoreEvents"

Do you have openoffice.org-kde and openoffice.org-gtk installed? Those
are gtk messages. Have a look at msg#24 of this thread:
