Intel 82946GZ/GL video chip

I've got a new computer with the Intel 82946GZ/GL video chip.

   1. Resolution is okay at 1280x1024
   2. 3D support with glx is working according to glxinfo
   3. The quality of the video is poor

I guess you call my problem ghosting. What ever you call it the picture 
is just not as sharp as I would expect it to be. Is there a way to fix 
this problem?

Oh, I think the system is using the i810 driver.
