Are you on Dapper or Edgy?

previous post?

Anything in there that is helpful?
Have you tried backing up your .evolution directory and then
reinstalling Evolution (from Synaptics Mark for reinstallation is
probably best) to see if that fixed the problem? If you have a standard
Dapper installation, I would also recommend:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
You should be able to do the updates now (if you are on Dapper) and they
should no longer affect your Evolution.
