As an FYI: I just tried this on a fresh install of Feisty Herd5 and
everything works. Herd5 has FF 2.0.0.2 and TB 1.5.0.10 installed by
default. I don't think it is the FF 2.0 that fixed it as I think that
Alex is running 2.0 on Edgy. So it appears that somewhere along the line
it has been fixed via a distro; where, I don't know.
When I get time I'll uninstall all the Ubuntu FF/TB stuff on Dapper &
reinstall from Mozilla. I've had to do this to get OpenOffice 2.1 to
work properly, so perhaps doing so w/FF&TB will do the same. I'll also
heed the warnings about actually "uninstalling" the FF meta package that
someone else provided, but it's a test system so I'm not overly
concerned if it creates problems & would rather just uninstall the crap
and reinstall the meta packages it bundles that are necessary for gnome.
