Audacity 1.3.2 is in a backports repository, but not an *Ubuntu*
backports repository. It's in Morgoth's. This page will provide all the
information you need to get what you want.

I think the most thorough information you can get about a package for
cheap is to run...
sudo apt-cache showpkg <package-name>
If you're insure of the package name...
sudo apt-cache search <keyword>
works as expected, and "keyword" can be a partial package name.
Of course it's always a good thing to 'apt-get update' before any of the
above. And be sure to read the whole screen. <grin>
