Seriously though, if you're ready to upgrade from 6.10 to the 7.04 beta,
do this:


     1. Press "Alt-F2"
     2. Type "gksu 'update-manager -c -d'"
     3. Click the button labeled "Run"
     4. Click the "Upgrade" button
