Going thru the Herd upgrades - to 7.04???

I am fairly new to Ubuntu, but, so far I like it much better than other
distributions that I've used.  I have a question concerning the
development sequence of the new version - which I understand will be
7.04.

I downloaded Herd 2 in (if I remember correctly) January.  I quickly
found out that "updates" came fast and furious - they have been almost
daily.  I have installed them all.

My question is, if I continue to install the upgrades, will I wind up at
Ubuntu 7.04?  If not, can I do an in place upgrade from wherever I am at
that point to 7.04?
