Clear your cache? Although most of these suggestions are Windows
related, you might have a look at:

Try a new test profile to see if perhaps your profile is corrupted.

I generally use SeaMonkey for browsing, but tested FF today
(Firefox/1.5.0.10 - Ubuntu version) and can't reproduce the problem on
my system (Dapper). I'll run it for the rest of the day & fill up the
cache to see it that makes any difference.
