Rename my login name and home directory name

You can do that, if you know what you're doing.  Since you managed to
change your login name, then you know about /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow,
/etc/group and /etc/gshadow.  If you rename your home directory, make
sure that you update /etc/passwd accordingly.
