guarddog/iptables problem

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble making guarddog/iptables allow WOL packets. I use 
WOL all the time on my home network and am forced to disable the 
firewall each time I use it.

I defined the protocol (UDP port 9) and allowed it in the local network 
but iptables still rejects the packets. The symptoms are: When I send a 
magic packet, (using either etherwake and wakeonlan) I get the error 
message that sending magic packet failed. When I disable the firewall, 
the packet is sent successfully.

Any ideas?
