AMD64 vs. i386, any new observations?

Works fine here on my AMD64 installation. Flash was slow on many pages
until a couple of days ago, when I got compiz to work on my system. For
some reason that seems to have made flash to work faster. Or then it was
just a well timed coincidence.

I used to have some initial difficulties to get flash to work (I started
with tribe 5) and if I remember right installing nspluginwrapper solved
the problem. I'm not quite sure though, because I was doing so many
things at the same time then. According to this forum thread
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=476924 nspluginwrapper should
be installed automatically now when needed.
