Couple of questions

I thought I posted, maybe it did not go thru, I know I forgot to add a
title. I'm totally new to Linux, just a tinkerer, know next to NOTHING. I
messed around with Kubuntu but it wouldn't work right on my machine, so I
found that Ubuntu is pretty much very newbie friendly and am sticking with
that.

In Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, I have two questions - is there a newsreader so that
I can read my Hotmail (such as Outlook Express allows you to do or Outlook)?
Also, how to automount a hard drive? I have an external USB hard drive with
no operating system on it, it appears on my desktop at bootup, no problem. I
have a 40 gig hard drive with Ubuntu on it, and I have another hard drive
with Vista on it, that one I have to mount manually on each bootup by
clicking on it and entering my password. I want it to just appear on my
desktop at bootup like Windows would do it.

Thanks,

Marti
