However I wouldn't be so inclined if the basic application problems with
OpenOffice (ever try to run the wizards?), Evolution (ever try to print
on anything but A4), Gnome-utils/Gfloppy, etc., were actually being
*fixed* in Feisty. How about a security fix for OpenOffice 2.2 in Feisty
(http://www.openoffice.org/security/cves/CVE-2007-2834.html)... nope,
upgrade to Gutsy.
Unfortunately the *only* way to get some of those basic application
functions to work is to install Gutsy.
Perhaps you or someone else might run into the same cups-pdf problem on
Gutsy. Would pointing out the problem here then consist of bitching if
it helped solved your problem?
Is providing feedback/comments/opinions only reserved to paint a rosy
picture?
