installing Ubuntu

OK, good to know. Anyway, on the first machine I used gparted of Feisty. 
Due to the failure I used gparted of Dapper on the second machine, I had 
used that version successfully on my machine. However, this time it 
failed. I suppose, the problem was in both cases that the files on the 
Windows partitions were scattered all over the partitions even after 
defragmentizing several times. Oh well, I know why I don't like 
Windows ...
