Gutsy using only one CPU on dual core?

Ubuntu Users,

I have a Pentium dual core CPU. But I have this feeling that I am only
using one processor.

In the System Monitor, under the Resources tab, it only shows one graph
for one CPU. Back when I was using Edgy, I think there were two charts,
one for each CPU. So it seems somewhere along the way in all the
upgrades I've made since then, I've lost support for two CPUs.

The "uname -r" command says I'm running 2.6.22-14-386.

Is there a way I can verify for sure if I've got two CPUs supported and
active, or if I don't, how exactly I enable them?

I checked on the forums, but most of the advise was over a year old, so
I'm not sure if it still applies since I'm using the newly released Gutsy.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
