Hi,
Dell Inspiron 5100, updated bios in 2007.
Works well for suspend and hibernate (since Gutsy, with feisty hibernate
didn't work well)
Since Gutsy fan also seems to spin-up far less than before, using xfce
desktop though.
Can't use any of the temperature applets as they say ACPI support is
missing, or something similar.
