problem connecting to Windows network

Hi,

I have a Ubuntu machine connected to a Win XP machine on a wired network,
and am trying to access shared folders on the Windows machine from the
Ubuntu machine. Going to Places>Network brings me to network:/// in
Nautilus, and it shows one icon that says Windows Network. However, opening
that takes me to smb://, which shows nothing in the directory. I'm not sure
what's going on, because this was working fine before. I haven't tried
connecting the machines in a month or so, and I don't remember what I did
before, though I don't think I had to do much at all to get the Windows
share working.

Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Jimmy
