ESC Seuqences in Konsole

ESC sequences are sent to a terminal to do things, such as start bold, 
end italics, etc. See <http://www.termsys.demon.co.uk/vtansi.htm> for 
example.

The terminal does not print these to the screen; it performs the 
intended actions.
