Computer won't restart if turn off!

When I pushed b it just wrote b, so I deleted the b and pressed enter, then
escape. The computer is now back on. I won't turn the computer off now
because I really need it but as soon as I will do it I will post a note on
the list to let everybody know what happened. Thank you for your help.
