Hello dear Ubuntu Users,

I have been working on XBMC packaging for Ubuntu in collaboration with
the XBMC team : http://xbmc.org/ . They have been working very hard on
the port of XBMC on Linux.

Well I have succeeded uploading XBMC to the team-xbmc PPA. So the
packages are available for test.

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ubuntu gutsy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ubuntu gutsy main

What is interesting with XBMC is :
* They have developed a skinning framework that allow the skinner to
just write some XML and some icons. http://xbmc.org/development/skinning/
* The python scripting engine that provides an API to the GUI framework.
meaning that you can make python script having using a UI very well
integrated. http://xbmc.org/development/python/

Try some of the skin packages :-)
The T3CH addons contains python scripts so that you can test a bit.

Have fun !
