/home partition location

If you have two hard drives that have enough space, I would recommend
making one of them a backup disk and using rsync.  I'm just so darn
happy with this setup.  Not for an enterprise datacenter, but it works
great at home:

That said, the big advantage of making a separate *partition* for
/home would be that you can reinstall the O/S in the non-home
partition over and over again.
