But this is easier - especially if you have to wade through the archives
with a text reader:

How do you install from a CD now? Do you have a device that assists you
when in DOS or non-OS mode - such as a braille terminal? If so, then
using the Alternate CD in text mode would be your best bet.

If you need to use an accessibility feature (such as a screen magnifier
or screen reader) during the installation, press F5. You can select
options on this menu by pressing the up and down keys, then pressing
Return to select an option. The order of the options on this menu are as
follows:

    *  None (default option)
    *  High Contrast
    *  Magnifier
    *  Screen Reader
    *  Braille Terminal
    *  Keyboard Modifiers
    *  On-Screen Keyboard

These might be of help:

[Server and network installations]

Those can get somewhat complicated, but if the target machine is a
windows machine, then Wubi might be your easiest choice.

Once you do get it installed, there are several packages that might be
of assistance:

$ apt-cache search braille
brltty - Access software for a blind person using a soft braille terminal
brltty-x11 - Access software for a blind person using a soft braille
terminal
libbrlapi1 - braille display access via BRLTTY - shared library
libbrlapi1-dev - Library for communication with BRLTTY - static libs and
headers
python-orca-brlapi - python bindings for braille display access via BRLTTY
python-orca-brlapi-dbg - python debug bindings for braille display
access via BRLTTY
texlive-fonts-extra - TeX Live: Extra fonts
brltty-flite - Access software for a blind person using a soft braille
terminal
emacspeak-ss - Emacspeak speech server for several synthesizers
gnopernicus - Screen reader for GNOME 2
kernel-patch-speakup - A screen review package for the Linux kernel
lsr - The Linux Screen Reader for GNOME
