Virtual Box or Ubuntu?

IMHO it isn't important to use a specific IP address for NAT inside the 
VM. If the VM should be visible to the outside world or if you really care 
about the IP address, use bridge mode (Hostinterface) instead of NAT. The 
setup is a bit more tricky but you can use any IP address you want.
