Itunes like software for Ubuntu

Amarok
Banshee
Songbird
gtkpod

All are great replacements for itunes. but don't expect a 
feature-for-feature transition. you won't be able to connect to the 
itunes store from any of those. you can purchase mp3s from amazon.com 
though.

from that list, my favorite is Amarok.
