How to install Ubuntu 7.10 on HP Pavilion dv6670en notebook?

I was trying to install Ubuntu 7.10 64bit on my notebook.
It going through some steps and suddenly stops at here....

* Checking Battery state                                         [OK]
* Running local boot scripts (/etc/rc.local)                 [OK]

System doesn't struck, but setup wont go further after this.

What can i do?
