Like someone has already told you, Pidgin is perfect for the chore.  All 
that is required is that you sign up for the account and enter the 
account info in Pidgin.  I have my MSN, ICQ, AOL and Yahoo running at 
the same time.  It's also much less prone to attack than any of the others.
