well first off, _make sure that you use something like NERO or Easy CD
creater on windows to burn the ISO._
Once you do that, reboot with the cd in then, when you get to the boot
menu, scroll down to the check cd for defects option.
btw, they have a windows installer called "WUBI". I would recommend the
use of that as it makes it much easier to dualboot ubuntu and it doesnt
require a cd
