do dynamic drives work with Ubuntu?×

hi,
I have a machine with a double boot for Ubuntu Hardy and Windows server 2003.
It has 2 drives, and on each drive 4 partitions:
    1 for Windows, and the 3 others for Ubuntu.
I configured Ubuntu with RAID1, and it works fine.
Now, I want to also setup RAID1 for Windows, and it needs to put the drives
in a so called "dynamic mode", instead of "basic mode".

My question is:
   Is this mode compatible with Ubuntu, or is there any risk that the Ubuntu
   partitions became unusable?
   I would not like to bo obliged to re-install it ...
