I have an HP LaserJet 1022 printer, and they have a really hard time being
shared through a windows server let alone through a Windows XP Pro
computer. If your printer has a network connection on it connect it
directly to the network instead of sharing it though Windows. Ubuntu will
then be able to print to the printer. This is what I had to do with my HP
LaserJet 1022
