*Editing* screencasts?

There are quite a few programs able to record a screencast
(gtk-recordMyDesktop is my favorite at the moment, but there
is also istanbul, xvidcap and probably more).
But ... are there any tools to edit such a screencast further? I mean:
- adding notes (= placing rectangles with some text in selected places
so they are displayed for predefined time),
- adding simple graphical annotations,
- cutting unnecessary parts,
- adding extra delays in selected places
Also, I understand that I can store voice separately and then mix
it with video using avidemux or manual scripting, but maybe there
is some way to edit voice inside some application able to navigate
within video?
