Numlock work as a user but not as another

Hi all,


I just noticed that in Hardy, I can use numlock keys as the user I
registered when installing hardy, but not as another user I created
later on.

Other than that one fact, I'm yet to figure out what else
differentiate the two users (both are set as administrators with
access to everything listed in gnome's add user menu).

Any pointers, clues?
