Java in Hardy Heron

Hi ubuntu-users

Every application that uses Java complains with the default settings of 
the Java environment in Hardy Heron. Examples are OpenOffice, matlab, 
own compiled java program, etc.

Using Gutsy (or previous versions) I never had any problems with the 
Java settings. How should I adapt the settings for the java.
