The saddest thing about the trollish complaints is that this thread
managed to further convince some people, like you, that there is
constant fighting on the list and general rudeness, when it just isn't
true. 

It isn't this time (I think I have sufficiently shown that), and it
wasn't the last time. Res and others who like to complain are stirring
things up and are the rudest of all. I, personally have been called
"asshole" and other things over nothing by Res (before he banned me) in
his rants about rudeness. Do you think I ever was as rude to anyone? Of
course not.

And JW P, it does not help if you perpetuate this myth about rudeness,
supposed self-appointed list police, or your so-called "Xperts" by
claiming that "they will continue to run this thread to death over
whether or not someone unsubscribed correctly." 

If you read the thread you'd have seen that only 2 posts were about
unsubscribing, the first one and an immediate answer that was given. It
would have ben over right there. But then the thread was hijacked by
Michael's unwarranted complaint, and it developed from there, stirred up
by Res as best he could. The problem is certainly not with nebulous
"Xperts" complaining about unsubscribing behavior.

Who are these "Xperts" anyway? I have never seen the people you
describe.
