Firefox locking up

Sun's Java 6 update 7 works just fine for me. Did you also put a link in
your ~/.mozilla/plugins folder? Also, if you had the Ubuntu installed
sun-java6-plugin installed you'll need to remove it completely for Fx3
to pick up update 7.
