If only the live CD started up faster. My father-in-law would like to try
Linux, but he doesn't dare install it on Mother-in-law's computer :-) A
live CD and a USB stick would be perfect for him, if it booted in a
reasonable time. I actually had him set up with a bootable USB drive, but
it was too flaky to run the OS off it (hardware problem, not software - one
of these days, I'll try it again).
