NTFS partitions do not mount at boot/startup.

My NTFS partitions do not mount at boot/startup.

The NTFS partitions show up in 'Places', and if selected in 'Places'
will appear on the desktop and be available to other programs such as
the file location for the desktop background photo and the shared
Thunderbird profile.

The NTFS partitions do not show up in etc/fstab.

In previous versions the NTFS partitions were on the desktop at
boot/startup.

I just finally upgraded with the alternate install CD to 8.04 (waited
for Foxmarks).

What did I do wrong? How do I fix it?

TIA
