Ubuntu in my pocket

    I used rsync to put this Gutsy on my 4 GB USB memory. I had to use 
the whole thing because it is just a bit over 3 GB now with all the C++ 
libs and other things I feel important.

    Need to change a few things in /boot/grub/menu.lst and /etc/fstab 
files and then will try to run Ubuntu from the USB memory. It is a lot 
slower than a real Hard Drive but it should work. The trick will be 
getting the USB memory to be available when BIOS starts Grub. I will add 
to this computers menu.lst a call to the grub on the USB memory system
