Places vs. Places . . Why the differences?

Interesting, I never noticed this. Besides the Windows partitions, I
have a few other bookmarks in Places the point to external disks, and
none of those show up in Add Wallpaper. I would guess this is
intentional, as external disks or Windows partitions might not be
available all the time. Probably the Ubuntu developers wanted to make
sure that the wallpaper does not suddenly disappear because the disk or
partition is not available. I don't know for sure, though
