Sorry Leonel, you were right.

I did apt-update and apt-upgrade and now I have firefox version 3.

is it normal that I could not do the same using Synaptic Package Manage, or
is that I did some thing wrong?

I thought you could do the same with apt than with Synaptic Package Manage
