Hello guys and gals,

I goofed up on my Dad's comp while doing some system admin tasks and I
erased the/etc/apt/sources.list and when I try to run apt-get update I get a
message saying that the doc type isn't right. How do I go about taking the
sources.list off the cd and copying it back on to the hard drive? Ug! I
hate when I make mistakes like that. Here is the error message I get when I
type apt-get update.
root at Matoe:~# apt-get update

E: Type '<!DOCTYPE' is not known on line 1 in source list
/etc/apt/sources.list
