Disabled wants help

[AC Joubert]

Hi
I  am diablled and thus have to use a computer without a mouse. Also I'm using Windows Stickey keys as pressing two keys simultaneously  is  impossible.
But now I want to give Ubuntu a try.  I can install  it but if I  press the Accessibiity -> Keyboard Modifiers  -> RETURN  it  hangs.
Any  help will be appreciated.  Thanks
