iwlist scan output incorrect?

Can you ssh into your router and run this command to see if in fact the 
settings you expect are in nvram?

~ # nvram show | grep aes
wl_crypto=aes
size: 26100 bytes (6668 left)
wl0_wds0=*,auto,aes,psk2,GoPlayElsewhere!,MyVerySecretPassphrase
wl0_crypto=aes
