mounting a hard drive

Hi,

I am trying to mount a hard drive, Hitachi.
It does not mount it automatically. It identifies it as "New Volume".
I try the following: 

mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 /media/New\ Volume\/ -o force
fuse: failed to access mountpoint /media/New Volume/: No such file or directory
FUSE mount point creation failed
Unmounting /dev/sdb1 (New Volume)

What should I do?
