Thunderbird, Default mail?

Back in Linux now, and the entry is in "Edit | Preferences |
General". You can check immediately from the Tab and decide which you
want T/Bird to be default for (Mail, News, RSS).
Or, you can follow Dave's suggestion and select it from the main
menus. Either will work.
