ATI 9550

I installed gutsy with my ATI 9550 w/124mb onboard and everything runs
fine.  However I need the card for the unit I'm about to put together
and there is the onboard Ati 9550 that shares my mianboard memory. 
Since I had less than half a gig and doing graphics work I needed all my
RAM and I had the card laying around.  Now I have a gig of memory but
when I pull the AGP card and boot it goes into basic and I'm totally
lost for how to solve the problem.  At this time I have reinstalled the
AGP card and it is running fine.
