running in low graphic [using NVIDIA pcie card]

Dear frnds,
I am working with UBUNTU 7.10 I connected NVIDIA GEFORCE PCI X CARD.
Now my machine running with low graphic mode, I installed new nvidia driver
downloaded form nvidia site
Sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-171.06-pkg1.run # installed in recovery mode and
restart the machine
Iam getting dual display now but , still machine running in low graphics
mode
Pls help to update and configure nvidia driver properly
