Best partition size for Ubuntu Root

Hi Leafman, 
I second Ioannis statement with 2* RAM size !
I would recommend first 2* (system's max) RAM size !!

Well, one can adjust these setups later of course according to needs !?
If one, with todays HDD sizes, has enough space, don't go too
small !!! ;-)
