That *probably* could have been worded a little more nicely, like 
pointing out that you found on the ubuntu security list <link> that the 
same issue has been identified, or something like that.

Not trying to cause a flame war, simply pointing out that sometimes tact 
is nice unless the original poster has already established themselves 
with a reputation for being a troll or somehow deserving of slings and 
arrows, that's all.
