liferea: Please save status/read items more often

Since I updated to Ubuntu Hardy, my Liferea crashes a lot more often.
While these crashes need to be addressed, it would help a lot if Liferea
wouldn't forget the status of all the read items since the beginning
(?) of a crashed session. It would help if Liferea saved the status
every few minutes (or something.)

To reproduce:

1. Open Liferea
2. Mark some items as read
3. Crash Liferea (read items with Flash content a lot, or "killall -KILL 
   liferea-bin")
4. Open Liferea
5. Find the already read items marked as unread again.
