Thanks sktsee, for your answer. I post what you asked me.
On details, a strange fact occurs when I execute
sudo hwinfo --monitor
The screen was translated 1 cm to the right:
To better explain this, suppose a row in a screen of 10 pixel:
1234567890. After executing the command, I saw a screen shifted like
3456789012. I never have seen this phenomenon.
Moreover, the output of sudo hwinfo --monitor, tells:
Max. Resolution: 1024x768, even though the really max resolution is
1280x800. When the "blue flicker" problem appear, my monitor change
resolution from 1280x800 to 1024x768.
When I said "put the display to sleep", I was referring to
just the blank monitor that appear after the screen saver mode. So I was
meaning the swiching off the monitor, while the computer is running.
After having moved the mouse or pressed a button of the keyboard the
"blue flicker" problem appears.
sudo hwinfo --gfxcard
